Day 01 – NaPoWriMo 2017

April is upon us. I’ll be sometimes following the prompts HERE or from a poetic FB group I belong to. Today’s prompt is from the former and it to write a Kay-Ryan-esque poem: short, tight lines, rhymes interwoven throughout.

Day 01

snatched and
edges laid.
hips full.
watch the curves
they are quite
and viewed
upon with lust.
reverences paid
must be submitted
with actions
pure, golden
pillars of trust.
lest you ever
swim within the
waters of brilliance
and stardust.
for this Goddess
will accept nothing less.
