Day 4 – NaPoWriMo 2016

You can find all about NaPoWriMo and the prompts I’m following (sometimes) this month HERE.

~~~~ here is my piece ~~~~
Old man winter clings
to window and ground and air
April is so cruel.
Right outside my door
flurries of frosty white snow,
April’s cruelest joke.
*Today I challenge you to write a poem in which you explore what you think is the cruelest month, and why.
    So true. Where I am in Canada, we had record highs just a few days ago (21 Celcius, or about 70 F), but now we’re supposed to dip back below freezing and get snow. Yes…a cruel joke indeed!
      Yes same here. We had some rain but it was warm and windy. Now we’re freezing again and looking at the calendar like, are we in the twilight zone! Lol. Thanks for stopping by #LoveandInk to you
  2. CC Champagne says:
    We just today had our first proper taste of spring – although our winter hasn’t been one for the books… I’d be devastated if winter re-appeared, so I absolutely hear you on this. *grin* If I had to pick a month, it would probably be February… *shudders*
      At least with February, I know here in Michigan it’s SUPPOSED to be winter, I know that there’s going to be a foot of snow and cold blustery winds. But in April we’re looking for the emergence of spring and so that is why it’s the cruelest, because some how winter is still trying to stick around. LOL. Thank you for reading . #LoveandInk
